Selection: 

Because many people have me ship puppies to them, I often have to select their puppy for them. I put different color collars on each puppy and watch them for two personality areas.

1. Dominance. In every litter there is a pecking order from Alpha (most dominant) to least dominant or aggressive. People with small children don’t need an aggressive pup, nor do many other family constellations. However, someone wanting a shutzhund would be better off with an alpha personality.
2. Socialization. Some puppies want constant attention (good with children) and others are more self sufficient. These puppies are better with middle aged couples as they need less attention and are more placid.

There is a puppy personality for every home, and via some questions and basic information I usually am very good at sending the right puppy to the right home.

I invite all customers to come to my home kennel and select a puppy for themselves. However, when this is not possible, I help via description of personality and appearance, helping the buyer to choose a puppy that will be best for their home and family. I arrange all shipment (via airline cargo), and make certain the puppy is flying when the weather is safest, usually early in the morning, when it’s coolest.
